“The 50 Top Pizza World 2023 awarded our Cherry Culatello pie the highest honor, as it was recognized as the best of the best amongst pizzerias from all across the globe,” stated Crosta in an Instagram post. “We couldn’t be more proud to raise the Philippine flag amongst talents from North and South America, Europe, Africa, and, of course, Asia-Pacific.”

The Makati-based restaurant secured the top spot, facing stiff competition from Sartoria Panatieri in Spain, Jay's Artisan Pizzeria in the US, and 180g Pizzeria Romana in Italy. In addition to this prestigious accolade, Crosta has now climbed to No. 54 in the global rankings, a significant leap from their May 2023 victory at the Asia-Pacific awards, where they were ranked No. 10 in the region.
